Back in October 2007, my cousins from the United States visited Manila. We had a little reunion at Serendra, particularly at Abe. I can’t help but notice my cousin’s long and thick eyelashes. However, I ended up at Ricky Reyes because that was the only salon that had that kind of service at that time. The procedure only lasted for 30-45 minutes. I liked the results. I liked the fact that I didn’t have to put mascara. The eyelash extensions lasted for about two months. Since maintaining it would out of my budget, I decided not to continue it.

Recently, I discovered this salon, called I-Lash Extensions Salon. It exclusively offers eyelash extension services. Their eyelash extension services range from PhP 550 to PhP 2,000. Now I’m thinking whether to try their eyelash extension or just stick to mascaras.

About two weeks ago, my family headed to Glorietta for dinner. Thanks to my sister’s CPK gift certificates, we all left with full stomachs. So after that, we went strolling at the mall and passed by Plains and Prints. The store releases its new arrivals every Thursday. I should know… I’m an avid fan. But it was a Sunday and there were already new clothes hanged at one portion of the store (I know because I just went there on Friday). For guys planning to give a necklace to their girlfriends, this is not a good gift. This is not something girls can wear everyday. This is a good buy though for your friends.

For starters, putting eye liner can be a challenge. You can opt for a pencil eye liner or a liquid eye liner. Several brands of make up offer the two options. However, I have discovered The Face Shop’s Easy Eye Brush Eye Liner. The results are dramatic and comparable to that of a liquid eye liner, yet it’s easier to put on.

I like the former better since it creates a more vibrant effect. I also apply this starting with inner corner. You need to be extra careful in drawing the line since you don’t want to appear it overdone. If you’re just going to the office or school or any activities in the day time, it’s always best to apply eye liners that will make you look natural and just enhance your eye features. For events during the night, you can put more eye liner creating a bolder dramatic effect.
